PLANNING YOUR BUDGET
What affects the total project cost?
The hourly rate is fixed, but the number of hours depends on the size of the space, the volume of belongings, the pace of decisions, and whether you want one organizer or a team. A pantry or closet may fit into one focused session. A move, garage, or whole-home project is usually planned in stages so you can control both the pace and budget.
Space and volume
A crowded room takes longer than a lightly used one of the same size. Photos help us estimate the amount of hands-on work.
Decision pace
Editing belongings is personal. We build a plan around your energy and never rush decisions simply to finish a room.
Products and hauling
Organizing products are discussed separately and only after we measure. Donation or haul-away needs are included in the plan.
How to get the most value from each hour
Choose one concrete outcome for the first session, gather any family decision-makers who need to participate, and avoid buying containers in advance. We edit first, reuse what already fits, and recommend only the products that solve a measured problem. Finishing one high-impact space is usually more valuable than partially sorting several rooms.
REAL PROJECTS
A focused session can change how a space works.

COMMON QUESTIONS
Pricing questions we hear often.
- How much does a professional organizer cost?
- Our sessions are billed hourly: $70 per hour for the lead organizer and $65 per hour for each additional organizer. Larger projects are planned as a series of sessions, and you receive a recommended scope before any work begins.
- Is the consultation really free?
- Yes. The first conversation costs nothing and carries no obligation. It covers your priorities, a recommended starting point, and clear expectations for time, preparation, and cost.
- How many hours will my project take?
- It depends on the size of the space and how quickly decisions come. A single pantry or closet is often one session, while a whole-home project is planned as a series. The consultation gives you a realistic estimate instead of a guess.
- When would you bring a second organizer?
- When the volume calls for it. Garages, whole-home resets, and unpacking on a deadline are the usual cases. Additional organizers are $65 per hour each, and we discuss the recommendation with you before scheduling.
- Do you travel outside Louisville and Oldham County?
- Yes. Meredith has taken projects beyond the regular service area and is happy to consider yours. Travel that far is priced differently than a standard session, so call 502-443-3383 or send a note with your location and we will work out the details together.
- Are organizing products included in the price?
- We recommend products only after the editing is done and the shelf is measured, and we reuse what you already own wherever it fits. Anything new is discussed with you before it is purchased.
- Do you require a minimum number of sessions?
- No. Plenty of projects are a single focused session on one room, and you are free to add more later if it feels worthwhile.
