Prospect sits along the US-42 corridor on the Jefferson and Oldham county line, a short drive from our Crestwood base. It is a community of larger homes, and larger homes are very good at absorbing decades of belongings without anyone noticing.
More storage is not the same as less clutter
Prospect homes tend to have the square footage most people wish for: finished basements, bonus rooms, deep closets, three-car garages. The catch is that abundant storage removes the natural pressure to decide. Items get put somewhere rather than dealt with, and ten years later the bonus room is a warehouse.
Downsizing after the house empties out
A lot of our Prospect work is downsizing: households where the children have moved out and the family home is now larger than the life being lived in it. That project is as much emotional as logistical, and we pace it accordingly: measurements and floor plans first, low-stakes categories next, photographs and keepsakes when there is time and support.
Whole-house projects, sequenced sensibly
Large homes reward a room order. We start with the spaces that shape your day, finish each one completely, and work outward toward the storage rooms, so the house stays livable while the project is underway instead of turning into staging areas.

COMMON QUESTIONS
Prospect questions we hear often.
Do you serve the Jefferson County side of Prospect?
Yes. Prospect straddles the county line and we work throughout it, along with the surrounding East End neighborhoods.
Can you organize a finished basement or bonus room?
Yes, and they are frequent projects here. Storage rooms hold the highest volume, so they often deliver the most visible result per session.
We are considering downsizing but have not chosen a home yet. Is it too early?
It is a good time to start. Editing the categories that will not move with you (duplicates, unused equipment, paperwork) makes the eventual decision easier and the eventual move smaller.
Do you work with clients preparing a home for the market?
Yes. Prep for sale is one of our services, and it pairs naturally with downsizing since everything removed for photos is something you would have packed anyway.

Meredith was absolutely amazing, came in ready to go and didn’t stop moving the entire time she was here. I was very comfortable with her here, my dogs were comfortable with her here(German shepherds)- this means a lot to me and I know a lot of others. She knocked out so much stuff I had been putting off for an entire year, I would genuinely recommend her to anyone that needs help. Her energy alone was refreshing and inspiring and she was exactly what I needed! Thank you SO much for all your help Meredith, I am so thankful to have met you.
Meredith is so sweet, easy to work with, and helpful! I have used her for several projects, the most daunting of which was my husband’s workbench area. Meredith is not intimidated by any mess or challenge. Definitely worth it!!
