Decluttering help without the judgment.

Deciding what to keep is the hardest part of getting organized, and it is the part most people cannot do alone. We provide steady, confidential, judgment-free support while you sort, then organize what remains and get the rest out of the house.

Your pace, your decisions

Nothing leaves your home without your say-so. Our job is to keep the process moving, hold up the choices clearly, and make it easier to answer the question in front of you. If a category is too heavy to face today, we set it aside and come back to it.

Why clutter accumulates faster than it leaves

Most clutter is not a discipline problem. It is deferred decisions: items without a home, purchases that never got returned, things kept for a version of life that has changed, and belongings inherited from someone else. Naming the reason a pile exists usually makes the pile easier to resolve.

Categories, not corners

Working corner by corner hides the true quantity of what you own. We gather a category together (every towel, every travel mug, every set of sheets) so you can see it at once. Deciding among fourteen visible items is far easier than judging one item at a time across four rooms.

Getting it out the same day

Decluttering only feels finished when the bags are gone. We stage donations as we go, keep a simple list if you need receipts, and help identify the right destination for items that need one: resale, recycling, document shredding, or disposal.

What a project includes

  • A calm, confidential session at a pace you set
  • Category-by-category sorting with clear keep and release piles
  • Help naming why an item is hard to decide on
  • Organizing and arranging whatever stays
  • Donation, recycling, and disposal options identified for you
  • Donations staged, boxed, and moved out of the living space

Start with a free consultation

Sessions are $70 per hour for the lead organizer and $65 for each additional organizer. The consultation is free and comes with a recommended scope before anything is booked.

COMMON QUESTIONS

Decluttering questions we hear often.

Will you make me throw things away?
Never. Every decision is yours. We ask questions, offer perspective when you want it, and keep the process moving, but nothing leaves without your approval.
I am embarrassed about how bad it is. Is that a problem?
It is not, and you are not unusual. We have seen homes at every stage, your project stays confidential, and we arrive to help rather than to react.
What happens to the things I let go of?
Most usable items go to local donation organizations. We help sort by destination and can suggest options for furniture, electronics, books, and specialty items that need somewhere specific.
Can you help with a room I have already tried to declutter twice?
Yes, and that is common. Spaces that fill back up are usually telling you the system does not match the routine. We look at what keeps returning and change the structure rather than repeat the purge.

Meredith was absolutely amazing, came in ready to go and didn’t stop moving the entire time she was here. I was very comfortable with her here, my dogs were comfortable with her here(German shepherds)- this means a lot to me and I know a lot of others. She knocked out so much stuff I had been putting off for an entire year, I would genuinely recommend her to anyone that needs help. Her energy alone was refreshing and inspiring and she was exactly what I needed! Thank you SO much for all your help Meredith, I am so thankful to have met you.

Meredith is so sweet, easy to work with, and helpful! I have used her for several projects, the most daunting of which was my husband’s workbench area. Meredith is not intimidated by any mess or challenge. Definitely worth it!!
